Stripes and Checks
I look a bit daft in that second one but oh well!
What I'm wearing:
Vest Top (can't really see it but it's there) - Tesco
Shirt - New Look (mens section. It would appear I never buy anything out the actual woman's section of that shop)
Cardigan - Primark
Shorts - Republic
Tights - H&M
Boots - Topshop
In my getting ready phase yesterday (when I wore this), I was rooting around trying to figure out what to put on and found the tights. I got them for Christmas a year or so ago and had never worn them, I guess I couldn't think what to wear them with. I was also worried I'd look a bit like a zebra. Hopefully I have avoided that!

Leather Jacket: A love/hate relationship
This is my leather jacket. Isn't it a beaut? I got it two Christmas's ago (I think) and I totally love eerything about it. It's so soft, and so warm, and it can work with so many things. It can be all rocky with black and jeans and t shirts, or it can bring a nice little tough edge to floaty dresses (like in my last post).
However, there is one teeny, tiny detail that bugs me. See those studs on the shoulders? They may look super cool and tough and different, buuuut, when I wear my hair down they ALWAYS catch my hair and pull some strands out. And let me tell you, it's quite a buggery. Sometimes I can go a good few hours and be fine, the BAM! I'll feel one of my poor hairs trapped under a big shiny stud and will have to gently try and rescue it.
I know this is one little thing, but every now and again I want to shout at my jacket for being so mean. I have found a way to rectify the problem though. I have a big black wooly snood type thing, and when I wear that with the jacket the hood suts over the studs, thus stopping any hair trapping! However, I can only really do this in the colder months, because who wears scarves in summer?
Despite that one little drawback, I think the leather jacket will stay firmly on the "love" list for a long while yet.

Ruffles
What I'm wearing
Dress - Blush Boutique in Shawlands. Not quite sure what's on the label beacuse it's currently in the wash!
Cardigan - Matalan
Jacket - Topshop
Boots - Topshop
What a difference a few days makes! This is what i wore two days after my last post. While it was a lovely crisp sunny autumn day then, it was rainy and cold and windy then! I'm all for autumn (multiple layering possibilities and hats and scarfs etc...) but I hate hate HATE the blurry, slurry, showery rain that we get; the kind that doesn't seem to bad but actually leaves you soaking if you don;t have an unbrella. And I have managed to lose two umbrellas in the last week or so in or around Uni. And one was my Mum's... whoops. So I have to take a big one in today, with the hope that I'll find the others if I ask at lost property. Wish me luck...
Oh, and I'm reading Emma for english Lit (as you can probably see). It's quite good so far :)

Wooly Warmers
What I'm wearing:
Wooly jumper - New Look (kids section!!!!)
Dress - Primark
Belt - New Look
Boots - Next
Bag - New Look
It's one of thoses days that's really sunny, and looks lovely, but is actually still a bit on the nippy side. So i went for my new favourite thing, my wooly jumper, and even some brown wooly tights (reminding me of primary school days) to keep me that little bit warmer.
Besides the fact that this dress was only a tenner from Primark (:O), I love how it can be dressed up or down depending on the occassion. I'm wearing it today for lunch with my friends from Les Mis, but I bought it at first to wear to a friends 18th. Here's how different it looks there;
What a difference a jumper makes, eh?
